Grandview Wedding of Patricia & Anthony: Italian Elegance & Hudson River Summer Splendor 
The Location - The Grandview on August 22nd, 2009
We picked The Grandview in Poughkeepsie, NY because of the scenery. Being on the water brings a peacefulness...It had everything, the water, the mountains, the sun, the amazing blue sky (thankfully!) and the moon.
The vibe was very relaxing and the staff delivered absolute professionalism. They took care of everything! The Grandview does an amazing job of taking the stress of the day off of the bride and groom. They treat you like kings and queens and they put out a spread like I had never seen before. People still talk about the Italian Venetian hour! I would highly recommend this location. We absolutely loved it!!!
The Colors - Clover Green & Off White
We picked the clover green because I wanted to stay earthy and I thought the green would look lovely on all of the girls. The off white for the men complimented the green.
The Dress - Special Occasions & Bridals By Antonetta
I purchased my Dress at Special Occasions in Fishkill NY, by the one and only Antonetta. She is the owner and seamstress right from Italy (only the best!) who delivered the personalized service any bride deserves for her special day. She was a gem.

The Hair - Locks That Rock Too
I have to mention the ladies that made me look so amazing!!!!
Tara at Locks that Rock Too in Newburgh, NY did hair for me and all of my girls with only one assistant. She came to the house and did a fabulous job, totally prepared for the sultry weather with just the right hair products.
She has such an eye for hair that she knew just what to do once she saw the dresses and the girls. Every girl had a different look, but so elegant and classy!
When she first did my hair I had an idea in my head and without telling her, she did exactly what I wanted. She is definitely edgy and when it came to my day she made me look like a Roman goddess.
The Makeup - Rachael of BridesFX 
Rachael is really good. I've used her before and she uses MAC makeup so I knew I wouldn't have any skin reactions. She has done makeup for several years and it shows.
A little pricier than I had hoped, but all the girls went with it and we all looked picture perfect. No over doing it. She also came to the house which was such a perfect, low-stress situation. I had the best of the best and it showed.

Jimi is such an amazing artist its crazy! He has so many talents.
What I love about Jimi the most is that you don't even know he is there. He pops out of little crevices and snap! there's an amazing photo. He is very aware of the lighting and uses it to fully enhance the pictures.
The most unusual spot or moment he catches and makes it beautiful. He keeps taking pictures until he knows for sure he has the perfect one. He's edgy and the poses may not be traditional, but the essence is.
The Flowers - Lily's of Valley
My flowers, which I absolutely LOVED, were done by Janet at Lily's of the Valley in Highland Falls, NY. She is perfection and has such an eye for color and design.
I told her what color the dresses were and I and explained to her that I wanted a color in the center pieces to pop. I told her what flowers I liked and disliked and she knew exactly what I wanted. Without seeing the actual centerpiece, I knew that she would put together a beautiful arrangement.
The first time I had seen the completed piece was at the reception I was beyond happy. I had seen her work and knew that I was in good hands. I would definitely recommend her!
The Entertainment - The DJ Solution
I would do it again, exactly the same way. Just wouldn't invite hurricane BILL this time! LOL
